Dear Hank, Thank you for information. Maria Florentyna Jozefa Krzyzanowska was born 05/20/1831 married Napoleon hr. Kreski and died 10/14/1916. She belonged to clan Swinka. Her father Jozef Filip Jakub was from Poznan and her grandfather Michal Krzyzanowski was polish senator. More about that family in the book by Andrzej Sikorski and Piotr Myslakowski "Rodzina Matki Chopina", Warszawa 2000 r. Sa dwie glowne rodziny o nazwisku Krzyzanowski, jedna to Krzyzanowscy herbu Swinka, a druga to Krzyzanowscy herbu Debno. Gdyby sie okazalo, ze jestes herbu Awdaniec to bylibysmy spokrewnieni o tyle, ze rod Debno wywodzi sie z rodu Awdancow, o czym wspomina profesor Piekosinski w swej ksiazce "Rycerstwo polskie wiekow srednich". Shield of Nadelwicz. Konstatyn obtained the hereditary title of Count from King Frederich-Wilhelm IV of Prussia on October 25th 1843. The title is extinct.
Nobility - The K. name comes from Kręsko locality in Pomerania, where the name appeared first in 1334. Landowner nobility in Warsaw.
Constantin-Hermenegild ‏(son of Joachim and Justine Magnuska)‏ owner of the land of Grebanin obtained in 25.X.1843 from the King of Prussia Frederic-Guillaume IV, an hereditary title of Count. Married Brigitte Koz|uchowska from Doliwa, he had a son, Napoleon, born in 1820 died XII.31.1870. This last one married Marie Krzyz|anowska, they did not have any male heir. The title is extinct.
There are some baron without title.
